Overview:

The Irix Edge Hard Graduated ND4 filter with an optical density of 0.6 provides a 2-stop reduction of light compensation with a soft transition from the top of the filter to the center. This filter helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image.

Hard Graduated Filters are very useful when you are photographing hard line horizons like seascapes or savannas. Irix Edge filters are characterized by the highest precision and optical quality to be able to meet the image quality generated by Irix lenses. Both surfaces of the glass filter are covered by the multilayer anti-reflection and water/oil-proof coating providing high light transmission and natural colours.
